An event dedicated to the UN Day and the 75th anniversary of the United Nations has been held today, attended by UN Resident Coordinator in Georgia, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and special guests.

Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director General of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) was among the guests. She congratulated the organization on its anniversary.

“First of all, I would like to congratulate ourselves, our country, and the United Nations on the anniversary. The most important thing that unites us is – peace, we so desperately need. Georgian Public Broadcaster has several projects in cooperation with the United Nations. We continue to work, including within the framework of the project Teleschool, so that the messages that are global and common for the whole world become even more accessible,” – Tinatin Berdzenishvili said.
