NATO Foreign Ministerial to be opened in Brussels

This year’s last meeting at the level of foreign ministers of 29 NATO countries will be held in the headquarters of the alliance in Brussels, Belgium on December 4-5.

The main issues on the agenda include the situation around the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF).

Also, today, the North-Atlantic Council (NAC) will meet with Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Ukraine. Talks will be focused around the challenges in the Black Sea region and the situation across Georgia’s occupied regions.

Davit Zalkaliani, Foreign Minister says that the high-level meeting is the confirmation that the alliance supports Georgia’s aspiration to become its member. Zalkaliani will hold bilateral meetings on December 5.
