Member of National Movement demands public meeting with CEC Chairwoman

Salome Samadashvili, a member of National Movement Party demands a public meeting with Tamar Zhvania, Chairwoman of Central Election Commission (CEC).

As Samadashvili said during the briefing, the decisions made by CEC have to ensure Constitutional right of participation of all citizens in the elections and protection of rights of the government elected through the elections.

According to Samadashvili, the ruling party decided to use COVID-19 pandemic for its election purposes and CEC makes new decisions every day to create favorable conditions for enabling Georgian Dream to forge elections comfortably.

“So that the elections are legitimate in the eyes of both our public and the international community, it is important that every decision to be made in the nearest days serves the only purpose – to ensure Constitutional right of participation of all citizens in the elections and for protection of rights of the government elected through the elections,” Samadashvili claimed.
