Opposition MP advises PM to start his every speech with Mea culpa

Opposition MP Salome Samadashvili advised Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, who is answering questions of lawmakers in the interpellation format in parliament, to start his every speech with the words Mea culpa, meaning I apologize.

According to Samadashvili, like a broken clock shows the correct time at some point, the PM uttered the only truth today in the parliament that obstructing the European agenda means the country’s treachery. She said it was the culpability of the head of the government and the ruling team that Georgia failed to receive EU candidate status.

“Mr. Prime Minister you are culpable when you called the youngsters, who rescued this country at the expense of their life and health, Satanists. You are guilty before Ukraine, you have to apologize to the killed and raped by Russia Ukrainian people,” she said.

Samadashvili also urged the PM to apologize to his family and children for going against the interests of the country. She said nobody believed in lies.

“Very soon the EU will publish its opinion and publicly tell you what they are telling you behind closed doors, that you have not fulfilled any of the requirements and you are leaving this country without the candidate status. I don’t know where you will run afterward. Keep friendship with Orban (PM of Hungary),” Samadashvili stated.
