Two-way traffic fully restored on 16th kilometre of Ozurgeti–Gomismta highway following landslide clearance

Two-way vehicular traffic has been fully restored on the 16th kilometre of the Ozurgeti–Shemokmedi–Bzhuzhhesi–Gomismta highway, according to an official statement issued by the Roads Department of Georgia.

“Two-way traffic movement has been completely restored on the 16th kilometre of the Ozurgeti–Shemokmedi–Bzhuzhhesi–Gomismta secondary road of national importance,” the official statement read.

Vehicular movement along this stretch of the highway had been temporarily halted following a landslide that deposited a mass of earth onto the carriageway.
