Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to enforce strict quarantine restrictions in a round-the-clock regime in Marneuli and Bolnisi municipalities.
After initiation of the quarantine restrictions, police checkpoints were arranged on the main roads of the municipalities, while mobile groups constantly monitor the secondary routes. Police officers conduct intensive patrolling activities to ensure safe environment in villages and towns of municipalities.
Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provide locals with respective information on a regular basis regarding the imposed restrictions in the quarantine zone.
In addition to the police forces, the quarantine perimeter is also being monitored by means of drones of the Emergency Situations Management Service, operated by respective police units.
At this moment, the situation in the mentioned locations is stable and fully under control.
