Johannes Hahn to pay a visit to Georgia

On September 3-4, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will pay a visit to Georgia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, within the framework of the visit, the European School of Eastern Partnership will be officially opened in Tbilisi.

The European School of Eastern Partnership is an unprecedented project of the European Union. It will be the first school that will be established outside the EU countries. The school is for graduate school students from Eastern Partnership countries and it offers internationally recognized European quality educational programs. After completion students will receive International Baccalaureate Diploma of European standards.

Students will be selected from six Eastern Partnership countries with the relevant competition. 30 students have been already selected for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Within the frames of the visit, the European Commissioner will hold meetings with the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani.
