Foreign Ministry explains procedures for Georgian citizens living abroad on participation in presidential elections

Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explains the procedures about participation in 2018 presidential elections for the Georgian citizens living abroad.

Foreign Ministry calls on Georgian citizens for undergoing registration at Consulates in a timely manner in order that their applications are reflected in the voters’ lists.

The Georgian citizens are encouraged to use the hotline of consulate departments. They have to fill-in applications in online regime provided by consulates or diplomatic representations.

Foreign Ministry says that consulate departments are working in a special regime, and expresses hope that participation in the second round of presidential elections on part of Georgian citizens will be high.

The second round of 2018 presidential elections will be held at 55 polling stations opened in 39 countries.
