Archil Talakvadze - We will inform congressman on our arguments regarding their letters

“We have a strategic partnership and a strong friendship with the United States, which cannot be questioned,” the Chairman of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze said in an interview with Georgian First Channel.

“As for the letters from the congressmen, the government is ready to answer all the questions that the congressmen asked in their letters,” Talakvadze said.

The Chairman of the Parliament noted that the decision on the electoral system is the subject of the political spectrum’s agreement.

“The whole society did not demand the proportional system. Today, the bulk of the people think a mixed electoral system would be better. The lawmakers are among them,” Archil Talakvadze stated.
