Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Archil Talakvadze says if Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visits Georgia within the framework of the Council of Europe’s Ministerial, he will face Georgian government’s principled position that Russia should fulfil its commitments.

“I can not say whether or not the Russian Foreign Minister visits Georgia. If he arrives in Georgia, he will face protest due to the occupation of our territories. He will be encountered Georgian government’s principled position that Russia should fulfil its commitments, moreover, specific findings and assessments on human rights violation, murders, kidnappings, illegal prisoners,” Archil Talakvadze stressed.
