Alarm flashlights were fired several times at occupied village of Orchosani, nearby the military base, where occupied forces are illegally deployed, the State Security Service of Georgia said on Saturday.

According to the agency, such illegal activities are provocative and harm the security environment on the ground.

“On February 14, at about 20:00pm, alarm flashlights were repeatedly fired at the occupied village of Orchosani, in the adjacent of the territory of a military base, where occupied forces are illegally deployed.

This fact was seen from the territory, controlled by the central government of Georgia and was revealed by the patrol police team. Such illegal activities are provocative and harm the security environment on the ground.

The State Security Service has activated a hotline and informed the EU Monitoring Mission,” the Security Service said.
