SSG: Occupation forces unlawfully detain Georgian citizen

The Russian occupation forces unlawfully detained a Georgian citizen near Odzisi village of Dusheti municipality on September 15, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) reported.

The SSG said it had activated a hotline of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) and notified co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions (GID) to release the detainee shortly.

The SSG underscored that “the occupation forces bear full responsibility for the destructive actions carried out in the occupied regions of Georgia and along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL).”
