SSG prevents cyberattack on President's Administration website

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) on Friday said it had prevented a cyberattack on the official website of the President’s Administration.

In its statement, the agency explained that “the Cybersecurity Centre of the Operational and Technical Agency had swiftly detected the attack and issued emergency response measures leading to the prevention of the attack and allowing the website to continue operation.”

The SSG added that the probe is underway into “further vulnerabilities on the website, identifying perpetrators, and pursuing legal action.”
