251 IDP families were provided with apartments in Dirsi settlement in Tbilisi.
According to Georgian Prime Minister of Giorgi Gakharia, caring for the future of children from IDP families will continue in the future.
The Minister of Health of Georgia Ekaterine Tikaradze and German Ambassador to Georgia Hubert Knirsch attended the event.
Prime Minister personally handed over the flats’ keys to several families.
“We have a lot of IDPs who need government assistance. We provide 251 IDP families with apartments. People forced to leave their homes as a result of the war are still homeless. We all know that it is a drop in the ocean, but we must continue to take care of the future of the children and celebrate such days” – said Giorgi Gakharia.
