Georgia should observe developments in Russia, GD Chair says

Chair of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, Irakli Kobakhidze said Georgia should observe developments in Russia.

“This is the only thing we should do,” he said, and called on the Georgian people for being calm.

Remarking on the Facebook status of Giorgi Gakharia, leader of For Georgia party urging the government to summon the National Security Council, Kobakhidze said that he had “never heard such foolishness uttered by Gakharia in the past.”

“The security of the country is protected. Our state agencies take care of this throughout this period. The state stands firmly on the watchguard of security and we don’t need anyone’s, especially Gakharia’s instructions in this regard,” he said.
