Vasil Maghlaperidze offers MPs and media representatives to become introduced with situation at GPB

Vasil Maghlaperidze, General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) offers MPs and representatives of mass media to become introduced with the situation at GPB directly at TV.

Maghlaperidze made this offer in the parliament during the meeting of Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament with representatives of different mass media outlets over discussions on Law on Broadcaster.

According to Maghlaperidze, important processes are taking place at GPB and big reforms are being carried out.

“Despite political preference, any MP must be interested in Law on Broadcaster and I ask you simply not to approve the law until you visit the broadcaster. It is better to see once than hear hundred times about what the situation at the broadcaster is, what processes are taking place and which steps are made,” Maghlaperidze said.
