Vasil Maghlaperidze: Brussels Bureau of First Channel will not be closed, it will be reinforced

“The Bureau of the First Channel in Brussels will not be closed, contrary,  it will be reinforced and the journalists will work based on the principle of rotation”,  – Vasil Maghlaperidze, General Director of Georgian Public Broadcaster made the regarding statement at the sitting of the Board of Trustees.

As Maghlaperidze noted, the international direction is the priority for the First Channel. According to him, the journalist of the European Bureau Ketevan Kardava has proposal.

We need a diversified work on covering events in Europe in order to be more flexible. We will have an international program. Therefore, we decided to introduce the rotation system. Ketevan kardava has a proposal and she remains. We should cover events in Europe. We are planning to prepare programs from there,” – Maghlaperidze said.
