UNM's Khabeishvili to Lelo party: You can't be on both sides

Chairman of the United National Movement (UNM) Political Council Levan Khabeishvili has addressed the Lelo party calling on to decide “whether it stands with Ivanishvili and participates in his elections, or stands with the Georgian people.”

He stated that “participation in the elections would be a betrayal of prisoners of conscience.”

“It’s a simple choice to make. Despite your [Lelo] decision to participate in the elections, I still hope that you will change your position, because there is no middle ground,” Khabeishvili declared.

“There is only one path, and that is through boycott and protest – we must strengthen street protests. We will defeat Ivanishvili only through powerful street protests, there is no other way,” Levan Khabeishvili stated.
