According to Tina Bokuchava, today, the European People’s Party, ‘the most influential’ European party, adopted a resolution on Georgia.

“This is a very important support for the Georgian people’s European choice. This was at a congress attended by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the German Chancellor, and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola. We met with all these people to defend Georgia’s European future.

The resolution calls for expanding the sanctions policy to restrain the Russian regime and return Georgia to the EU path. For this, new parliamentary elections must be held and political prisoners must be released,” Bokuchava stated.
