Tbilisi Mayor: Mutual respect, human love, solidarity have no religion or nationality
Tbilisi Mayor Kaha Kaladze has extended his congratulations to all those celebrating Eid al-Adha, emphasising that mutual respect and human love transcend religious and ethnic boundaries.
In a social media post, Kaladze said: “I congratulate our fellow citizens, everyone who celebrates Eid al-Adha, on this holiday. Eid al-Adha is a symbol of kindness, unity and friendship, which, like Muslims living in other countries, is celebrated with special love in Georgia too.
“Mutual respect, human love and solidarity have no religion or nationality. It is expressed in peaceful and cultural coexistence, which has been with us for centuries. I congratulate you and wish you well-being, kindness and love!” the Mayor added.
