Tbilisi Mayor: Georgia aspires to have truly friendly, peciprocal partnership with US

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze expressed optimism about the future of Georgia’s relations with the United States and the West, emphasizing the potential for significant changes once the new U.S. administration begins its work.

“As soon as the new administration officially takes office, we anticipate a radically different political dynamic regarding Georgia, both from the U.S. and Europe,” Kaladze stated. “The current state of relations, particularly with the United States, is unacceptable to us. We aspire to re-energize these relations, to deepen them further, and to foster a truly friendly and partnership-based dynamic—one that is reciprocal and not one-sided,” he added.
