Tbilisi City Hall to offer free transport for Patriarch’s enthronement ceremony
Tbilisi City Hall has announced that it will provide free transportation for citizens wishing to attend the enthronement of the newly elected Patriarch of Georgia.
According to the statement, municipal buses will transport passengers from First Republic Square to Svetitskhoveli Cathedral for the enthronement ceremony of the 142nd Patriarch. After the event, the buses will return passengers back to First Republic Square.
Public transport will depart from Tbilisi toward Mtskheta on May 12 at 08:00.
The enthronement ceremony of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia Shio III is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
