Strategy Aghmashenebeli's Vashadze: Trump's presidency means strong U.S. and Europe, no gains for Putin

The leader of Strategy Agmashenebeli, Giorgi Vashadze, has responded to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s recent statements, claiming that the ruling party is in a state of panic and struggling to hold on to power.

“Their shifting rhetoric on Trump once again proves that these Kotsis (GD member/supporter) are desperately trying to adapt to the new reality and sustain their influence through false propaganda. However, their isolation is only deepening.

No one in the West maintains ties with this violent regime anymore—ambassadors, international partners, and financial institutions are avoiding them,” Vashadze stated.

According to him, sanctions are already in effect, visa restrictions are real, and the Megobari Act will inevitably be passed.

He emphasized particular concern within the ruling party over potential British sanctions.

“London’s financial system is one of the strictest, and they know this well. Their fear is growing,” he added.

“Trump’s presidency signifies a strong America and a strong Europe—not a strong Russia or China. The Kotsis are waiting in vain; there will be no ‘new redistribution’ in Putin’s favour.

The West will only grow stronger, and Georgia will prevail. Kotsis’ time is running out—the West has abandoned them, and they have lost control. Neither violence nor propaganda can stop the people’s victory—Georgia will be free and European!” he added.
