Staff changes at MIA

Carrying out of staff changes began at Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). Three Deputy Ministers – Shalva Khutsishvili, Merab Malania and Davit Variashvili – already wrote letters of resignation.

Based on the information of First Channel, Head of Tbilisi Police Department and Head of Drugs Illegal Circulation of Criminal Police Ramaz Tarashvili also quit.

Head of Criminal Police Davit Natriashvili and Head of Patrol Police Department Aleksandre Khvadagiani are likely to resign as well.

Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs started performing his duties on November 14. He met with heads of different departments and employees.
