Several villages of Kobuleti Municipality Placed Under Strict Quarantine
Several administrative units of Kobuleti municipality have been placed under strict quarantine. In particular, the restrictions have been imposed on the villages of Gvara, Mukhaestate, Legva and Tskavruka. Prime Minister’s Advisor and Spokesman Irakli Chikovani stated.
As he noted during the special briefing, starting today, in addition to the restrictions imposed under the state of emergency, it will also be prohibited to enter or leave the abovementioned administrative units.
“Currently, we have 252 cases and several of them were confirmed in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. These cases include a wide range of contacts. Strict quarantine restrictions have been imposed on several administrative units of Kobuleti municipality, in particular, on the villages of Gvara, Mukhaestate, Legva and Tskavruka.
Starting today, in addition to the restrictions imposed under the state of emergency, it will also be prohibited to enter or leave these administrative units,” Irakli Chikovani stated.
The entry and exit points will be controlled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the forces of the Ministry of Defense.
The municipalities of Lentekhi, Marneuli and Bolnisi already have been placed under the same strict quarantine conditions.
