Private hotel, inn owners rally in seaside Kobuleti

Owners of private hotels and inns are holding a protest rally in the Kobuleti seaside resort of the Adjara region.

They complain about the poor tourist season and urge the government to mediate with banks over financial liabilities or a moratorium on loans.

Protesters lined up in a human chain outside the Kobuleti Municipality building. Kobuleti Mayor Mirian Katamadze met the protesters and pledged to inquire about their concerns.
