NAEC opens secondary clearing process for 2026 university and vocational applicants

The secondary enrollment allocation process for university and vocational admissions opens today, according to an official announcement by the National Assessment and Examinations Centre (NAEC).

Applicants may select their desired educational programmes from 11:00 on 14 September until 18:00 on 18 September.

To guide prospective students through the secondary allocation phase, NAEC has published an updated electronic information portal, the Applicant Handbook, containing detailed vacancy data and programme profiles across higher education institutions and vocational colleges nationwide.

“The handbook contains detailed information regarding educational programmes and available vacancy quotas at higher education institutions and vocational colleges.

To select programmes between 14 September and 18 September, applicants must visit the registration portal at www.online.naec.ge, click the banner marked ‘Unified National Examinations – Secondary Enrolment’, log in using their personal identification number and existing password, and submit their chosen educational programmes.

When choosing programmes, applicants must take into account each institution’s minimum competency threshold for individual subjects, the number of available places remaining on each programme, tuition fees, and the city where the programme is delivered. Applicants must select their preferred bachelor’s or vocational degree options based on their 2026 Unified National Examinations results.

The right to participate in the secondary clearing process is extended to applicants who met the minimum competency threshold for each subject in the 2026 Unified National Examinations but failed to secure a place, as well as applicants who did not clear the higher education threshold across all subjects but successfully passed the minimum requirements established for vocational education programmes,” the official announcement reads.
