Ahali’s Tevzadze: No interest in debating Ana Tsitlidze

Tengiz Tevzadze, a member of the Coalition for Change and representative of the Ahali party, said they do not consider it serious to engage in any kind of debate with UNM’s Ana Tsitlidze.

Tevzadze also described Girchi leader Iago Khvichia as an “agent-provocateur” of Georgian Dream and accused the United National Movement of playing along with him.

“Nika Gvaramia has already responded regarding the debate. We do not consider, especially Nika Gvaramia does not consider, that we should engage in any kind of debate with Ana Tsitlidze. We do not take it seriously, nor do we see any demand or public interest in it.

“Assessing the political positions of Iago Khvichia and similar agent-provocateurs has brought those political forces to where they are today — they have effectively embarked on a path toward marginalization. Therefore, there is no interest whatsoever in debating Ana Tsitlidze, especially on the part of Nika Gvaramia,” Tevzadze said.
