Russian President meets so-called president of occupied Abkhazia

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the so-called elected president of occupied Abkhazia, Badra Gunba.

According to Russian media, Vladimir Putin said at the meeting that the election campaign in Abkhazia was “turbulent, but the main thing is that the people expressed their opinion.”

The Russian president promised that Russia would help occupied Abkhazia solve the problem of electricity shortages, ensuring humanitarian supplies.

Badra Gunba, for his part, noted that with Moscow’s support, Abkhazia has the opportunity to develop and establish economic relations.
