Putin cut off during address to rally in Moscow

Russian state television suddenly cut President Vladimir Putin’s speech mid-sentence as he was addressing Muscovites filled Russia’s national stadium for a pro-war rally on the anniversary of Russia’s Crimea annexation.

During Putin’s speech, state television switched to showing a clip of patriotic music.

The Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov later said the interruption was caused by a server glitch.
