Roads Department restricts traffic across certain roads

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure restricted traffic on certain roads due to heavy snowfall, blizzards, and poor visibility.

Movement is banned for semi-trailers, trucks and vehicles with over 22 passenger capacity at Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road. 4WD cars and motorcars equipped with anti-sliding wheel chains are permitted to move.

Traffic movement is free at the Zugdidi-Khaishi section of the road.
