Rally continues in Tbilisi for 20th day, demanding new elections and release of detainees
For the 20th consecutive day, protest rallies are held in Tbilisi and regions.
Protesters are demonstrating against the Georgian Dream party’s November 28th decision not to put EU accession talks on the agenda till 2028. The main demands remain holding new elections and releasing those detained during the protests.
In recent days, representatives from various sectors and professions have been organizing marches through the capital’s streets, ultimately gathering near the Parliament building at the end of each day.
