MP Zarkua: Shameless exploitation of youth by patrons of "those stateless"; state is obliged to act
“It has recently emerged that those who control these stateless individuals are once again funding our youth abroad, aiming to divide them through crime, deceive them once more, and manipulate these young people to serve the interests of the exploiters,” said MP Irakli Zarkua, a member of the Georgian Dream.
According to him, the state will uphold the law and respond firmly to any violations.
“It appears that the British Embassy in Lithuania is once again financing the training of our youth for street protests, for storming parliament and state institutions, and clashes with law enforcement. We have warned parents about this. They deny it, claiming they are conducting training, but in reality, under this guise, they are repeatedly preparing violent individuals, young people who may be driven to defend themselves with fire, swords, or even Molotov cocktails. We warned parents last year, and we saw the results: parents standing outside, crying.
No one is pleased when their children find themselves in such a situation, but the state is obliged to respond. Do not force the authorities to react in the same manner to your children’s actions. A revolution is simply out of the question; it is unfounded. Yet, the owners of these stateless individuals are shamelessly exploiting young people. Ask yourself: where are your children? Who and what are they being prepared for, and what are they being trained to do? Then it will be too late,” Zarkua warned.
Today, reports emerged that the United Kingdom is training Georgian activists in Lithuania ahead of the October elections. These sessions are allegedly organised by non-governmental organisations, including the British-Georgian Society and the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
