MIA officials visit INTERPOL innovation Center in Singapore
Senior officials from Georgia’s Central Criminal Police Department and Forensic-Criminalistics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs visited Singapore on a working trip to the INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI).
According to the Interior Ministry, Georgian law enforcement officials held meetings with leading INTERPOL experts, during which they discussed the latest trends in combating cybercrime, modern capabilities for collecting and analyzing digital evidence, and the practical use of new technologies.
“Within the framework of the working meetings, the sides exchanged experience and best practices. They discussed prospects for further strengthening cooperation, developing professional capabilities, sharing knowledge and expertise, and implementing joint projects,” the Ministry said.
Senior officials from the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau also took part in the working visit to Singapore alongside the Interior Ministry delegation.
