“We are not engaged in a struggle to organise a single large demonstration that would culminate in an end (overthrow of the government)—this is not the nature of our fight,” stated Elene Khoshtaria, leader of the Droa party, during her appearance on Formula TV.

She emphasised her firm stance against violent overthrow, asserting that she will actively work to hinder such efforts.

“I understand the fatigue and inertia—many think that if we all come together and protest, it will finally bring an end. But we must be clear: one demonstration that leads to a sudden finale—an outright violent overthrow—is not something we support. We will not facilitate it; on the contrary, we will oppose it. Because such actions only serve the interests of Russia and the Georgian Dream,” Khoshtaria explained.

She added, “Historically, there have been moments when people took up arms and took to the streets in a single day. But we do not want that. Our country neither needs nor can afford such developments,” Khoshtaria concluded.
