PM presented new Justice Minister to ministerial staff

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze presented new Justice Minister Paata Salia to the ministerial staff, the Government Administration reported.

According to the Head of Government, Paata Salia is one of the most qualified lawyers in the country.

The Prime Minister thanked former Justice Minister Anri Okhanashvili for his service and wished him success in the capacity of Chief of the State Security of Georgia.

“Paata Salia is one of the most successful lawyers in the country, pursuing thriving legal practice for years. He is one of the most qualified lawyers in our country. Having been a member of our political team and the Parliament of Georgia over the past few months, Salia is now holding the Office of Justice Minister of Georgia. He has every quality to be a worthy leader of this exceptionally important agency in our country. Besides being an excellent professional, he is also a conscientious man. I am convinced that he will make an extraordinary Justice Minister,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.

Paata Salia thanked the Head of Government for declared trust and pointed out his readiness to worthily serving as the country’s Justice Minister.
