Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss bilateral cooperation and opportunities for strengthening ties.
According to the Government Administration, the meeting highlighted the successful collaboration between the two countries across various fields, focusing on the potential for deeper trade, economic, and investment partnerships.
Discussions emphasized Georgia’s favourable investment environment, government programs supporting businesses, private sector competitiveness initiatives, and the nation’s growing export potential. The Tbilisi Dry Port project, funded by Abu Dhabi Ports Group, was noted for its strategic role in the Middle Corridor’s development.
The talks also included updates on successful negotiations with EMAAR, one of the UAE’s largest development companies, leading to significant upcoming investments in Georgia.
Tourism cooperation was another key topic, with both sides recognizing the positive impact of the visa-free regime on growth in this sector. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in various areas.
