PM Kobakhidze: Georgia interested in expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan to attract investments

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and expressed a desire to expand cooperation in attracting investments.

According to the Head of Government, “the Kazakh market is appealing to Georgian exporters.”

“Georgia and Kazakhstan have always had close friendly and cooperative relations. We are grateful for your support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized boundaries.

The volume of bilateral trade turnover shows growth trends. The Kazakh market is appealing to Georgian exporters. We are willing to assist the exports of Georgian agricultural products to Kazakhstan and stimulate investments in this sector.

Kazakhstan is a key and fast-increasing tourism market for Georgia. As a result, we indicate our willingness to continue cooperating in this respect.

We have an excellent investment climate, one of the lowest taxes, and access to key international markets,” Kobakhidze said.
