Nice imposes a curfew amid COVID-19 concerns

Starting today, Nice has imposed a curfew in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, according to the French media.

“From March 20, from 20:00 p.m. all shops and pharmacies will be closed. Only Special staff can work to provide food to old and socially vulnerable people,” the mayor of the southeastern French city of Nice Christian Estrosi said.

Christian Estrosi himself has been self-isolating as he is infected with the coronavirus.
