Natia Mezvrishvili: War propaganda worked. Anyone claiming otherwise is either lying or hasn't spent even day in regions during pre-election period

“Yes, the war propaganda worked. Anyone claiming otherwise is either lying or hasn’t spent even a day in the regions during the pre-election period. This has nothing to do with election fraud,” Natia Mezvrishvili, a member of the Gakharia for Georgia party wrote on Facebook.

Mezvrishvili emphasized that those who believe the propaganda should be viewed as victims in need of assistance.

“The elections were falsified. Did we work in this direction? Yes, we did. We did this during each meeting with citizens and not only (review our political messages). Was it sufficient? Certainly not. Despite limited resources and falsified conditions, we still managed to independently secure 8%. Those with access to oligarch support, corruption funds, or media platforms could have contributed more to this good cause.

I maintain my longstanding belief that those swayed by propaganda are victims requiring our support. This is especially crucial as we work to weaken the regime’s messaging and build broader support. I’ll leave it at that. Those who haven’t acted yet should start now,” she wrote, adding, “P.S. Yes, the anti-LGBT propaganda worked too.”
