Marek Dudaev killed in so-called South Ossetia

Marek Dudaev has been killed in so-called South Ossetia. According to the agency Res, the murder occurred in Dudaev’s village of Artsevi. The de facto Ministry of Internal Affairs told the agency that Marek Dudaev was found dead in a former village club. He was shot three times.

According to the media reports, Dudaev was at a party in the club together with his neighbor, who shot him dead.

Representatives of the so-called Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs are conducting search-operative activities.

Marek Dudaev was detained by Georgian law enforcers in March 2004 for murdering several people, extortion of money and robbery. In 2005, he was sentenced to 23 years in prison by the Tbilisi Court. He spent 9 years in jail. He was released under amnesty on June 7, 2013.
