By a decree of the Government of Georgia, January 3, 6, and 8-10, 2025, have been designated as public holidays for employees of administrative bodies defined by the General Administrative Code.
The decree was signed today by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the decree, administrative bodies are authorized to exclude certain employees or services from this provision if their work is deemed essential for the exercise of state power or the uninterrupted functioning of society.
The decree does not apply to financial obligations owed to entities under the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia. Additionally, activities related to state procurement, as governed by the Law of Georgia on State Procurement, are also exempt.
