“Security of locals is what matters most,” Ian Kelly, US Ambassador to Georgia said when commenting about the special operation ongoing at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street in Tbilisi.

The territory at Monk Gabriel Salosi Street is abridged. Crews of Patrol Police, Special Squad and officers of Counter-Terrorism Department of State Security Service remain at site. Additional heavy vehicles are deployed.

One person is detained as a result of the special operation, which continues for already 13 hours in detention of other compliances suspected of having links with a terrorist organization.
