Criminal police report arresting 20 drug dealers

Following the special law-enforcement operation conducted in several locations around Georgia, including Tbilisi, up to 20 drug smugglers were apprehended, Teimuraz Kupatadze, Head of the Criminal Police Department, stated to the media.

According to Kupatadze, the raids are going on at the court’s interlocutory ruling. There are both Georgian and foreign nationals among the detained.

The police are conducting a special operation in the Ponichala district on the outskirts of Tbilisi and Kutaisi, Imereti region.
