Gvaramia: Political leadership must align with people's will for effective decision-making
“The political spectrum is significantly lagging behind the public in decision-making. Therefore, both the content and dynamics of the political spectrum’s actions need to come into synchronization with the people’s position,”
Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, emphasized after a meeting at the Orbeliani Palace.
“The contours of necessary actions for the political spectrum have become much clearer. I maintain that the political sphere is significantly out of step with the public’s needs—this is not inherently good or bad, but simply a reality. It is essential for the content and dynamics of political actions to align with the people’s position. In this context, some important decisions have been made, which is promising and appropriate,” Gvaramia stated.
He mentioned that the president would address the specifics of these decisions, which primarily involve the scheduling and rules for fresh elections, as well as the formalization of the decision-making process.
“If we only think about how the GD will react to our actions, we risk stagnation, leading to inaction. The GD party tends to adopt a destructive stance towards everything,” Gvaramia concluded
