Nika Gvaramia: UNM’s participation in Opposition Alliance is only formal at this stage

Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Opposition Alliance, states that the United National Movement is formally a member of the alliance at this stage but does not participate in the alliance’s activities.

“It is, how many times do I have to say it is, but it is formal at this stage. Its decision is not to participate in the activities of the alliance. If you do not participate in what is happening in reality—when you do not attend meetings, do not participate in decision-making, or organize rallies and demonstrations—then is this membership? If you consider this to be membership, then the National Movement is in the alliance,” Gvaramia noted.
