Georgia’s EU Integration Commission held its 72nd session to review the annual report on implementation of the 2024 EU Integration Action Plan. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the Government Administration.

Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili presented the annual implementation report to commission members, outlining Georgia’s progress in fulfilling Association Agreement commitments over the past year.

Commission members assessed steps taken by Georgia toward implementing the Association Agreement, with officials reaffirming the government’s ambitious target of preparing the country for EU membership by 2028.

Discussions focused on future plans and measures needed to accelerate Georgia’s progress in Association Agreement implementation ahead of the 2028 deadline. The session emphasized the critical importance of coordinated involvement from all state agencies in the integration process.
