“It is time for a unified front among political parties. When fighting an authoritarian regime, we cannot afford to distinguish party lines,” said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Agmashenebeli, during an interview on TV Pirveli.

According to Vashadze, the United States anticipates this unification among opposition forces. He emphasized that no alternative exists for Georgia’s political future outside of collective action.

“As for political parties, it is time for a grand unity – a step we are already late to take. I urge all parties, including Salome Zourabichvili, to recognize that we are in a fight against an authoritarian regime. This is not the moment for division based on party affiliations. A key message from America echoes this sentiment: they are waiting for our united front.

Ask everyone who appears on your platforms about their stance on this unification. The solution lies in creating one common political platform to overthrow the current government, call new elections, and remove Ivanishvili from power. Afterwards, parties can reorganize or form new ones if needed. However, in the current political reality, unity is the only path forward. There is no viable alternative,” Vashadze concluded.
