Georgia's Agency of Protected Areas temporarily suspends visiting at five protected areas

Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas is temporarily suspending visiting at five protected areas of Georgia from November 8.

Martvili Canyon, Okatse Canyon, Okatse Waterfall, Prometheus Cave and Sataplia Cave, will temporarily close for visitors, said the Agency.

“In other areas with an open space, where social distance can be observed, the reception of visitors continues in accordance with the recommendations developed by the Government of Georgia and the World Health Organization,” said Georgia’s Agency of Protected Areas in a statement.

Georgia has reported 2 295 new coronavirus cases, 19 deaths and 2 537 recoveries today.
