Georgia reported 290 coronavirus cases, 80 recoveries, and 2 deaths on April 27, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 143 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 50 cases, and the Kakheti region with 23 cases.
A total of 24,676 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 22,687 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1,989 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1,18%, while 1,06% in the past week.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,654,665, among them 1,654,665 people recovered and 16,802 died.
As of today, 2,878,403 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 1,000 in a day.
